
Creamy Pasta Salad with Mozzarella & Basil

Preparation method
Bring about 2 liters of water to a boil in a large pot for the pasta. Meanwhile, wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Cut the mozzarella into bite-sized cubes and roughly chop the basil. Put everything together in a large bowl.
Once the water boils, salt generously. Add the pasta and cook al dente according to package instructions (approx. 10–13 minutes) over medium heat.
Drain the cooked pasta, rinse briefly with cold water, and let it drain well. Then add it to the remaining ingredients in the bowl. Add sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly and let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least 45 minutes.
Chef's tip
For an extra spicy note, you can mix a splash of lemon juice or some zest from an organic lemon into the dressing.
