- 500 g Greek yogurt
- 300 g Cucumber
- 30 g fresh mint
- 20 g fresh chives
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove fresh garlic
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper

Peel the cucumber and grate it finely. Place the grated cucumber in a sieve over a bowl. Sprinkle with a little salt and let it drain for about 2 hours, so the tzatziki remains nice and creamy later.

In a bowl, stir the Greek yogurt smooth with olive oil, lemon juice, and the pressed garlic. Finely chop the fresh mint and chives and fold them into the yogurt mixture. Season with salt and pepper.

Finally, add the well-squeezed cucumber and mix everything thoroughly. Let the mint tzatziki chill well in the refrigerator before serving.
