Ingredients

  • 300 g Frozen Forest Berry Mix
  • 400 g Heavy Cream 36% Fat
  • 400 g Sweetened Condensed Milk Can
  • 330 g Fresh Strawberries Punnet
  • 16 g Vanilla Sugar Packet
  • 3 tbsp Pink Gin Strawberry (optional)

Preparation

  • 1
Make a puree from the forest berries: Let the frozen berries thaw slightly or warm them briefly, mix with fresh berries, and finely puree with an immersion blender. Then strain through a sieve to remove seeds.
  • 2
Stir the berry puree smooth with the sweetened condensed milk and set aside. Whip the heavy cream until stiff and carefully fold it into the fruit-condensed milk mixture with a spatula.
  • 3
If available, pre-chill the mixture in an ice cream maker. Otherwise, pour the mixture into a sealable container and place it in the freezer. After about an hour, prepare the strawberry marbling: Puree the fresh strawberries, stir in vanilla sugar and gin, if desired. Spoon this strawberry mixture onto the partially frozen ice cream mixture and swirl it in a circular motion with a wooden stick to create a marble effect.
  • 4
Let the ice cream freeze completely. Remove from the freezer about 15 minutes before serving to achieve the perfect creaminess.
Tip
For an alcohol-free version, simply replace the gin with a splash of strawberry syrup or some lemon juice.
