Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Drain the soaked dates and place them in a tall container. Add the rapeseed oil and process everything with an immersion blender until a smooth paste forms. Transfer the date paste to a bowl, add the oat flakes and sunflower seeds, and mix everything well.
Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the oven at 180–185 °C for approx. 25–30 minutes until golden brown. After 10 and 20 minutes, turn the granola so that it roasts evenly. In the last 5–10 minutes, carefully monitor the color. After baking, let it cool completely for at least 20 minutes.
