Preparation method
Prepare an immersion blender, a deep bowl, and a non-stick pan with a diameter of approx. 28 cm (or a special pancake pan).
Place the peeled bananas, eggs, spelt flour, milk, baking powder, and melted butter into the bowl. Thoroughly blend everything with the immersion blender until a smooth batter is formed.
Heat the pan over medium heat. Place one tablespoon of batter at a time into the pan to form small pancakes with a diameter of about 8 cm. Bake the pancakes without additional fat for approx. 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Chef's tip
For an extra nutty flavor, you can briefly toast the hazelnuts in a dry pan before chopping them.
