Ingredients for the Pancakes
- 4 pcs. Bananas (peeled)
- 2 pcs. Free-range eggs M
- 30 g Smooth whole spelt flour
- 80 ml Milk 1.5% fat
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 20 g Unsalted butter (melted)
For Garnishing
- Natural yogurt
- Liquid honey
- Whole hazelnuts
Preparation
- 1Prepare an immersion blender, a deep bowl, and a non-stick pan with a diameter of approx. 28 cm (or a special pancake pan).
- 2Add the peeled bananas, eggs, spelt flour, milk, baking powder, and melted butter to the bowl. Thoroughly blend everything with the immersion blender until a smooth batter is formed.
- 3Heat the pan over medium heat. Place one tablespoon of batter at a time into the pan to form small pancakes with a diameter of about 8 cm. Bake the pancakes without additional fat for approx. 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- 4Once the pancakes are ready, they can be served immediately. They taste best warm with a dollop of natural yogurt, a little honey, and chopped hazelnuts.
Tip
For an extra nutty flavor, you can briefly toast the hazelnuts in a dry pan before chopping them.
