Ingredients

  • 3 pcs Lulo
  • 235 ml Still water
  • 1.5 tbsp Fine granulated sugar
  • Juice of 1/2 lime

For Serving

  • 1 handful Ice cubes

Preparation

    Halve the lulo fruits and then quarter them. Carefully remove the peel with a knife or scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Cut the pulp into small cubes.

    Place about two-thirds of the lulo cubes, along with the still water, fine granulated sugar, and freshly squeezed lime juice, into a blender or food processor. Blend everything finely until a smooth consistency is achieved.

    Fill a glass with plenty of ice cubes. Pour in the blended Lulada, add the remaining lulo cubes, and stir briefly. Enjoy immediately, ice-cold!
Tip
For an even creamier version, you can add a splash of condensed milk – this turns the Lulada into a 'Lulada con Leche'.
