Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Oats
  • 1 tsp Chia seeds
  • 4 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 100 ml Whole milk
  • 1 tbsp Raspberry jam
  • 1 handful Frozen raspberries
  • a few drops Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Baking cocoa
  • 1 tbsp Liquid honey
  • ½ Banana

Method

    Place the oats, chia seeds, and all dry ingredients of the chosen variation into a sealable jar. Add the yogurt, milk, and liquid ingredients. Seal the jar tightly and shake it well to ensure everything is evenly mixed.

    Cut the fruit into small, bite-sized pieces. Add it to the mixture in the jar and stir gently with a long spoon. Seal the jar again and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. It will keep there for up to three days.

    During the resting period, the oats and chia seeds absorb the liquid, making the muesli wonderfully creamy and soft. If you do not wish to use chia seeds, reduce the amount of milk to about 70 ml.

    In the morning, take the jar out of the refrigerator and enjoy the Overnight Oats cold directly, or transfer them to a bowl and garnish with fresh fruit as desired.

    Raspberry-Vanilla Variation: Add 1 tbsp raspberry jam, 1 handful frozen raspberries, and a few drops of vanilla extract.

    Banana-Chocolate Variation: Add 1 tsp baking cocoa, 1 tbsp liquid honey, and half a small, chopped banana.
