Preparation method

First, place the eggs in a small pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and hard-boil the eggs for approx. 8–10 minutes. Afterwards, rinse under cold water, peel, and coarsely grate.

Meanwhile, clean, peel, and finely grate the celeriac. Wash the apple and coarsely grate it with the skin. Immediately mix the grated celeriac with the lemon juice to prevent it from browning.

In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix the grated celeriac, apple, grated eggs, cream cheese, and Dijon mustard. Season the spread with salt and pepper.
Chef's tip
For an extra fine touch, you can sprinkle the spread with freshly chopped chives before serving. It also works wonderfully as a dip for vegetable sticks.
