Preheat the oven to 175 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking dish (approx. 30 cm x 25 cm) with baking paper.

In a large bowl, combine the plain flour with 150 ml whole milk, the soft butter, the granulated sugar, the crumbled fresh yeast, and a pinch of salt. Knead the mixture into a smooth dough. Kneading takes about 5–10 minutes (if using a food processor, on medium speed).
Filling & Shaping

Lightly flour the work surface. Place the dough on it and roll it out with a rolling pin into a rectangle of approx. 30 cm x 40 cm.
Chef's tip
For extra shine and sweetness, the swirls can be drizzled with a little liquid honey before serving.
