Preparation method
Roughly chop the hazelnuts and almonds. In a large bowl, mix with the rolled oats, gingerbread spice, and a pinch of salt.
Stir the coconut oil (if solid, warm briefly) with the liquid honey until smooth. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and mix everything thoroughly – this works best with your hands until everything is evenly coated.
Once the mixture sticks together slightly, spread it evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven at 170 °C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes. Turn at least once during this time so that the granola browns evenly.
Chef's tip
Serve the granola best with creamy yogurt or fresh milk and a few apple slices for the ultimate Christmas feeling.
