Preparation method

Cut the croissant horizontally so that it can be easily opened.

Generously spread both inner sides with the egg spread, allowing the bottom half to be more richly topped.

Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and cut the flesh into thin slices. Also slice the hard-boiled egg.

Chef's tip

For an extra crispy touch, you can briefly bake the croissant in the oven or toaster before topping.
