Ingredients for the Balls
- 310 g canned chickpeas
- 20 g pitted dates
- 40 g white almond butter
- 3 g ground cinnamon
For Rolling
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut
Preparation
- 1Place the chickpeas in a sieve, rinse thoroughly under running water, and drain well. If necessary, chop the dates into small pieces.
- 2Put chickpeas, dates, almond butter, and cinnamon into a blender or food processor. Blend everything until a homogeneous, pliable mass is formed. If the mixture is too firm, add a teaspoon of water.
- 3Form the mixture into balls about the size of a ping-pong ball with your hands.
- 4Roll the balls in cocoa powder or shredded coconut as desired, until evenly coated. Chill until serving.
Tip
For an extra crunchy note, you can mix chopped nuts into the mixture. The balls will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
