Preparation method

Line a rectangular pan or a small baking sheet (approx. 20 × 30 cm) with parchment paper or cling film. Prepare a large bowl.

In the bowl, combine shredded coconut and vanilla extract. Add the honey and 100 g of the melted coconut oil and mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Spread the coconut mixture evenly in the prepared pan, press firmly, and let it set in the freezer for approx. 15–20 minutes.

Chef's tip

The slices can be stored in the refrigerator and will keep for up to 3 months. Before serving, they should rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow their full aroma to develop.
