Gurkerl Küche
Ein klassisches und schnelles Rezept für eine zarte Forelle, die im Ofen mit frischen Kräutern und viel Butter saftig gebacken wird. In nur 25 Minuten servierfertig.

- 1 whole trout (approx. 450 g)
- 70 g butter
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 pinch fine table salt
- 1 sheet baking paper
Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat. Cut the butter into slices.
Rinse the trout under cold running water and pat thoroughly dry with kitchen paper. Season the fish generously with salt and pepper on all sides – including the inside.
Place the herbs and about 20 g of butter inside the fish. Line a baking tray with baking paper, spread 20 g of butter on it, and place the prepared trout on top. Distribute the remaining butter over the fish. Slide the tray into the preheated oven and bake the trout for approx. 15 minutes. Serve immediately and pour the melted butter from the tray over it.
