    Preheat the oven to 200°C. Lightly grease a baking dish.

    In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, soy sauce, mustard, and pressed garlic to form a marinade.

    Place the salmon fillets in the dish and generously brush with the marinade. Reserve some marinade for later.

    Bake the salmon for approx. 12-15 minutes (depending on thickness) until cooked through and the glaze is lightly caramelized. Brush again with marinade halfway through the cooking time.

    Sprinkle with fresh pepper and ideally serve with rice or green asparagus.
