Ingredients
- 1000 g sweet potatoes
- 180 g sour cream
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove fresh garlic
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika powder
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
Method
- 1Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and cut them into even sticks (fries). Mix with olive oil in a large bowl.
- 2Mix all spices (garlic powder, salt, smoked paprika powder, and pepper) in a small bowl and sprinkle over the sweet potatoes. Mix everything well with your hands until the fries are evenly coated. Spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 15–20 minutes until golden brown. Then flip and bake for another 15–20 minutes until crispy.
- 4Meanwhile, prepare the dip: Mix the sour cream with the pressed garlic and season with a little salt and pepper to taste. Serve the hot fries with the cool dip.
