Preparation method

Wash the kale thoroughly and remove the tough stems. Pluck or cut the leaves into bite-sized pieces.

In a large bowl, mix the olive oil with salt and pepper.

Rub the washed and well-dried kale leaves with the seasoned oil so that all leaves are evenly coated. Place the leaves side by side on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, without overlapping.

Chef's tip

Make sure the kale is really dry before oiling it, so the chips become properly crispy. You can also use a salad spinner.
