Bring 200 ml of water to a boil in a small pot or kettle.

Place the couscous in a small bowl, mix it with a pinch of salt, and pour the boiling water over it. Cover the bowl (e.g., with a plate) and let the couscous swell.

Meanwhile, wash the bell pepper and cut it into strips. Peel the onion and cut it into fine rings. Peel the garlic and finely chop or press it. Heat 2 tbsp of rapeseed oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic and sauté everything for approx. 4-5 minutes.
Chef's tip
For an extra fresh touch, you can garnish the finished couscous with a dollop of sour cream or fresh parsley.
