Preparation method

Finely chop the garlic, shallot, and ginger. Deseed the chili pepper and finely chop it as well. Briefly sauté everything together in a pan with vegetable oil.

Add the minced meat and sear for about 2 minutes until crumbly. Then add the fish sauce and green beans (if using fresh green beans, clean and halve them beforehand) and fry together for another 3-5 minutes.

Finally, fold in the fresh mint and deglaze with two tablespoons of lime juice. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Chef's tip

For a vegetarian option, you can replace the minced meat with crumbled tofu or a plant-based meat alternative.
