Ingredients
- 500 g Gnocchi (from the refrigerated section)
- 400 g chicken breast (cut into strips)
- 200 g fresh spinach leaves
- 200 ml whipping cream
- 1 onion (finely diced)
- 1 garlic clove (pressed)
- 50 g Parmesan (freshly grated)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt
- Ground pepper
- 1 pinch nutmeg
Method
- 1Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized strips. Finely dice the onion and garlic. Wash the spinach leaves and drain them well.
- 2Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan. Brown the chicken strips all around until golden, remove from the pan, and set aside.
- 3Sauté the diced onion in the pan drippings until translucent, then briefly fry the garlic. Add the spinach leaves and let them wilt.
- 4Pour in the whipping cream and let it simmer briefly. Add the gnocchi directly from the package to the sauce and simmer for about 2-3 minutes until they are soft and the sauce thickens.
- 5Return the chicken strips to the pan. Stir in the grated Parmesan and season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Serve hot.
