Preheat the oven to 200°C top/bottom heat.

Wash the cherry tomatoes and place them in a baking dish. Mix with 2 tbsp olive oil, the white wine, and a pinch of freshly ground pepper. (The wine can also be omitted if desired).

Push the tomatoes to the edge of the dish and make space in the middle for the block of feta. Place the whole feta block in the dish.
Chef's tip
For an extra spicy note, you can add a clove of garlic to the baking dish.
Make sure to use real Greek feta made from sheep's and goat's milk, as this develops the best consistency in the oven.
