Preparation method

Prepare the burger patties (or the vegetarian alternative) in a pan according to package instructions. Fresh meat takes a little longer, while pre-cooked or vegan varieties often only need to be briefly seared on both sides.

Place a tortilla on a cutting board. Cut it with a knife from the center straight down to the edge.

Imagine the tortilla is divided into four quarters. Each quarter will now be topped differently.

Chef's tip

For an extra savory note, you can briefly sauté the shallots in the pan until translucent beforehand.
