Saftiges, zartes Pulled Pork aus dem Slow Cooker, serviert in weichen Brioche-Buns mit knackigem Coleslaw und hausgemachter BBQ-Sauce. Ein Klassiker der Südstaaten-Küche.

Rub the pork neck with a rub made of brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook in a slow cooker on low for 8 hours (or in the oven at 120 °C for approx. 6 hours) until the meat falls apart.

Remove the meat from the pot and shred it into fine strips using two forks. Mix with some of the cooking juices and the BBQ sauce.

Preparing the coleslaw

Finely grate the white cabbage and carrots. Mix with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper, and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
