  • 300 g mixture of dried fruits and nuts
  • 250 g large flake oats
  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 100 ml cloudy apple juice
  • 2 tbsp liquid honey

Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 175 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.

    Roughly chop the mixture of dried fruits and nuts and mix with the oats in a large bowl.

    Gently heat the apple juice together with the honey and butter in a small saucepan until the butter has melted and everything is well combined.

    Pour the still warm liquid over the oat-nut mixture and mix everything thoroughly so that all dry ingredients are evenly coated.

    Spread the mixture about 1 cm high on the prepared baking sheet and press down lightly.

    Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown. After baking, let it cool completely so that the muesli becomes really crispy, then store in airtight jars.
Tip
Enjoy the crunchy muesli best with fresh yogurt or milk and a cup of hot tea.
