- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp instant coffee
- 2 glasses whole milk
- Ice cubes as desired
Place the instant coffee, granulated sugar, and 2 tablespoons of hot water into a tall container. Whisk the mixture with a hand mixer or a milk frother until a very firm, light brown foam forms.
Place some ice cubes into two glasses and fill them about 3/4 full with cold whole milk.
Carefully spoon the firm coffee foam onto the milk. Stir briefly before drinking so that the foam combines with the milk. Enjoy your homemade Dalgona Coffee!
Chef's tip
For a vegan version, Dalgona Coffee also tastes excellent with oat or almond milk. Make sure the water for the foam is really hot so that the sugar and coffee dissolve optimally.
