Preparation
- 1Bake the French fries according to package instructions in the oven or deep fryer until golden brown and crispy.
- 2Meanwhile, heat the roasting stock in a pot. Thicken with some cornstarch mixed in cold water until a creamy gravy forms. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- 3Place the hot fries in a bowl or on a plate. Generously spread the cheese curds (or mozzarella pieces) over them.
- 4Pour the boiling hot gravy over the fries and cheese, so that the cheese melts slightly but does not completely run. Serve immediately.
