- 8 pcs Fresh Jalapeños
- 3 tbsp Natural Cream Cheese
- 70 g Gouda Cheese Block
- 2 tbsp Fresh Chives
- 200 g Breakfast Bacon Slices
- 1 pinch Ground Black Pepper

Halve the jalapeños lengthwise, carefully remove the seeds with a spoon, and briefly wash the pods. Finely grate the Gouda and mix it in a bowl with the cream cheese and finely chopped chives. Season with freshly ground black pepper.

Generously fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture. Fold the halves back together and tightly wrap with a slice of breakfast bacon, so the filling is well sealed.

Place the prepared jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (top/bottom heat) for approx. 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Serve hot!
Chef's tip
It's best to wear disposable gloves when deseeding the jalapeños to avoid skin irritation from the spiciness.
