  • 4 cl Bourbon Whiskey
  • 3 cl Soda water
  • 1 slice Orange
  • 5 g Granulated sugar
  • 1 handful Ice cubes

In a glass or a mortar, muddle the orange slice together with the granulated sugar until the sugar slightly dissolves.

Fill the glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes. Add the Bourbon Whiskey and soda water.

Stir gently and garnish with an orange peel strip, if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Chef's tip

For the truly classic version, you can replace the orange slice and sugar with a few dashes of Angostura Bitters.
