- 200 g skinless chicken breast
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove fresh garlic
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- Juice of 1/4 organic lemon
- 1 pinch fine iodized table salt
- 6 wooden skewers
Cut the chicken meat lengthwise into 6 strips. Lightly salt the meat strips and thread them onto the wooden skewers in a wavy pattern.
For the marinade, combine the olive oil in a small bowl with the pressed garlic, a pinch of salt, the finely chopped rosemary needles, and the fresh lemon juice.
Generously brush the chicken skewers with the marinade. Preheat the grill and grill the skewers over direct heat for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and juicy.
Chef's tip
Serve the skewers with homemade tzatziki, spicy dips, or a crisp green salad with cherry tomatoes. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving further enhances the aroma.
