Diese gegrillten Spitzpaprika sind die perfekte vegetarische Bereicherung für dein nächstes Grillfest. Die Kombination aus cremigem Mozzarella, würzigem Feta und der frischen Note von Minze sorgt für ein mediterranes Geschmackserlebnis, das in nur 25 Minuten auf dem Tisch steht. Ein leichtes und köstliches Gericht, das sowohl als Vorspeise als auch als Beilage begeistert.
Preparation method
Wash the peppers thoroughly and cut them in half lengthwise, including the stem. Carefully remove the core with a small knife, keeping the stem intact – this creates practical pepper boats.
Drain the mozzarella and cut into approx. 1 cm cubes. Crumble the feta. Pluck the mint leaves from the stems and roughly chop. Mix the cheese and mint, season with a little salt if necessary, and fill the pepper halves with the mixture.
Place the stuffed peppers on the hot grill (skin side down, cheese filling facing up). Grill until the cheese has melted – this takes about 5 minutes. Don't worry if the mozzarella releases some liquid, this is completely normal. The peppers should have slight char marks on the bottom.
Chef's tip
For a spicy kick, the peppers can be sprinkled with chili flakes. A drizzle of olive oil before serving also goes wonderfully.
