- 500 g Mixed minced meat
- 10 pcs. Lemongrass stalks
- 2 cloves Fresh garlic
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Fish sauce
- 2 tsp Brown cane sugar
- 1 bunch Fresh coriander
- 1 handful Fresh shallots
Place the minced meat in a bowl. Finely grate or press the garlic, finely chop the coriander and shallots. Add everything together with the sugar, fish sauce, and soy sauce to the meat and mix thoroughly with your hands.
Divide the meat mixture into 10 equal portions. Lightly pierce the lemongrass stalks in the lower third in a few places with a knife so that the aroma can develop better. With slightly moistened hands, firmly press and shape one portion of meat around the lower end of each lemongrass stalk.
Grill or pan-fry the skewers until golden brown and juicy on all sides. Serve hot, preferably with fresh herbs or a dip.
