Ingredients

  • 190 g Tuna in its own juice
  • 2 pcs. Kornspitz baguette
  • 100 g Natural cream cheese
  • 2 pcs. Free-range eggs M
  • 1 tsp. Mild mustard
  • 1 pc. Red onion
  • 1 tbsp. Capers
  • 1 tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Fine salt
  • 1 pinch Ground pepper
  • 1 handful Fresh chives

Preparation

    Place the eggs in boiling water and hard-boil for approx. 8-10 minutes. Then rinse with cold water and let cool.

    Meanwhile, finely chop the red onion, chives, and capers. Drain the tuna.

    In a bowl, mix the tuna with cream cheese, mustard, onions, capers, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in most of the chives.

    Slice the Kornspitz baguette and generously spread with the tuna spread.

    Peel the hard-boiled eggs and slice them. Garnish the canapés with one egg slice each and the remaining chives.
Tip
For a particularly refined touch, you can also mix some grated organic lemon zest into the spread.
