Prepare the Dough
Add 450 ml lukewarm water and the crumbled yeast to the bowl of your stand mixer. Add the flour, soft butter, and salt. Knead the dough on medium speed for about 10 minutes until it is fine and smooth.
Dust the work surface with a little flour and place the dough on it. Cover it with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
Shape and Proof
Briefly knead the risen dough and form it into a roll. Divide it into 8 equal pieces and shape them into uniform balls.
Chef's tip
If you don't have a spray bottle, you can also flick some water against the hot oven walls with your fingers to create steam. It is important that this happens very quickly so that the oven does not cool down too much.
