Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Finely blend or puree the cottage cheese until it has a smooth consistency. In a bowl, mix it with the flour and baking powder. Work everything into a smooth, slightly sticky dough and knead it vigorously for at least 4 minutes until it becomes elastic.

Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces (approx. 80 g per piece). Form each piece into a flat disc, press a hole in the middle, and shape it into a bagel. Place the bagels on the baking sheet, brush with the beaten egg, and generously sprinkle with sesame seeds.
