Ingredients
- 160 g spelt wholemeal flour, smooth
- 170 g cottage cheese
- 1 pc egg
- 2.5 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch fine table salt
- 1 pc baking paper
Method
- 1In a bowl, mix the spelt wholemeal flour with the cottage cheese, egg, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Knead the dough well with your hands until all ingredients are combined into a uniform mass.
- 2Let the finished dough rest in the bowl for about 10–15 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 170 °C top/bottom heat and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 3Form 4 equally sized rolls from the rested dough and place them on the prepared baking tray. Slide the tray into the preheated oven and bake the rolls at 165–170 °C for approx. 30–35 minutes, until they are golden brown on the surface and yield slightly to finger pressure.
