Preparation method
Cook the rice in salted water according to package instructions. Meanwhile, cut the beef into very fine strips. Divide the broccoli into small florets, cut the carrot into fine sticks, and the bell pepper into strips.
Heat the vegetable oil strongly in a wok or large pan. Sear the beef in it for about 2 minutes (stir-fry method: stir and fry constantly) until it browns. Remove the meat from the pan and set aside.
Add the prepared vegetables (broccoli, carrots, bell pepper) to the same pan and cook, stirring constantly, for another 3–4 minutes until al dente. If needed, add a small splash of water to create steam.
Chef's tip
For a vegetarian option, you can simply replace the beef with tofu or more vegetables. Make sure to cut the meat against the grain to keep it especially tender.
