Ingredients
- 600 g mixed minced meat (beef & pork)
- 500 g potatoes (predominantly waxy)
- 1 pc onion (yellow)
- 500 g sweet potatoes
- 3 cloves garlic
- 40 g butter (mildly salted)
- 70 g whole grain roll (from the previous day)
- 200 ml whole milk (for soaking)
- 12 g table salt (fine)
- 1 pc egg (size M)
- 1 tsp marjoram (dried)
- 1 tbsp BBQ sauce (smoky)
Method
- 1Finely dice the onion and press the garlic. Cut the whole grain roll into small pieces and soak in 200 ml milk.
- 2Mix the minced meat well with onion, garlic, the soaked roll, salt, pepper, marjoram, the egg, and the BBQ sauce. Divide the mixture into two equal parts and form two elongated meatloaves (patties) with wet hands. Place them in the air fryer basket and cook at 170 °C for approx. 30 minutes.
- 3Meanwhile, peel sweet potatoes and potatoes, cut them into cubes, and boil them in salted water until soft. Drain the water, add butter and the remaining milk (100 ml), and mash everything into a fine puree. Season with salt and serve together with the juicy meatloaf.
