Ingredients
- 250 g minced beef
- 1 egg size M
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1⁄2 tbsp dried marjoram
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 40 g classic breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves fresh garlic
- 1 large yellow onion (finely diced)
- Salt
- Ground pepper
Additionally required
- 2.5 tbsp rapeseed oil
- Baking paper
Preparation & Sautéing Onions
- 1In a large bowl, mix the minced beef with the egg, paprika powder, dried marjoram, Dijon mustard, breadcrumbs, and pressed garlic. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- 2Heat 1 tbsp rapeseed oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the finely diced onions for about 8–10 minutes until translucent and soft.
- 3Add the sautéed onions to the meat mixture in the bowl and knead everything well. Form 6 equally sized patties from the mixture.
Searing & Baking
- 1Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 2Quickly clean the pan and heat the remaining rapeseed oil (1.5 tbsp) in it. Sear the patties for about 2–3 minutes on each side until they have a nice color.
- 3Place the seared patties on the prepared baking sheet and finish cooking in the preheated oven at 190–200 °C for about 8–10 minutes.
