Ingredients

  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 egg size M
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1⁄2 tbsp dried marjoram
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 40 g classic breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1 large yellow onion (finely diced)
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper

Additionally required

  • 2.5 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • Baking paper

Preparation & Sautéing Onions

    In a large bowl, mix the minced beef with the egg, paprika powder, dried marjoram, Dijon mustard, breadcrumbs, and pressed garlic. Season generously with salt and pepper.

    Heat 1 tbsp rapeseed oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the finely diced onions for about 8–10 minutes until translucent and soft.

    Add the sautéed onions to the meat mixture in the bowl and knead everything well. Form 6 equally sized patties from the mixture.

Searing & Baking

    Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.

    Quickly clean the pan and heat the remaining rapeseed oil (1.5 tbsp) in it. Sear the patties for about 2–3 minutes on each side until they have a nice color.

    Place the seared patties on the prepared baking sheet and finish cooking in the preheated oven at 190–200 °C for about 8–10 minutes.
