- 350 g pork loin
- 3 tbsp Char Siu sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
Marinate the pork tenderloin (pork loin) in a bowl with the oyster sauce and 3 tablespoons of Char Siu sauce. For best results, let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight in the refrigerator.
Preheat the oven to 190 °C. Place the marinated meat in a baking dish and bake for a total of 40 minutes. After half the time (20 minutes), turn the meat once so that it cooks evenly.
Shortly before the end of the cooking time, brush the meat with another spoon of Char Siu sauce. Turn off the oven and let the meat rest in it for a few more minutes before slicing it thinly.
Chef's tip
Serve the sliced meat in a rich chicken soup with egg noodles and fresh spring onions for an authentic Char Siu noodle soup.
