Sweet and Sour Pork Chops with Honey & Balsamic

Mix all ingredients for the sauce in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for about 1 minute until the sauce thickens slightly.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat. Season the pork chops thoroughly with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat the vegetable oil in an oven-safe pan over high heat. Sear the chops until golden brown on all sides. Transfer the pan (or the meat on a baking sheet) to the preheated oven for 4 minutes.
