Cut the chili pepper lengthwise, remove the seeds, and finely chop the pepper. Finely dice the onion as well.

In a bowl, thoroughly mix the minced pork with the chopped chili, diced onion, breadcrumbs, curry paste, lemon juice, cane sugar, and salt. Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

Form 12 equally sized balls from the meat mixture.
Chef's tip
For an extra crispy coating, you can briefly roll the meatballs in breadcrumbs again before frying.
