- 300 g minced beef
- 4 slices cheddar
- A handful of nachos
- 1 onion
- 2 pickled gherkins
- A handful of romaine lettuce
- Oil for frying
For the Dip
- 2 heaped tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp yogurt
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp honey
- ½ tsp garlic, dried
First, peel the onion and cut it into fine half-rings.
Heat a pan, add some oil, and caramelize the onions until golden brown, stirring occasionally – this will take a few minutes.
Remove the onions from the pan and set aside.
Divide the minced meat into two portions, form into balls, and flatten them in the hot pan with a spatula.
Sear on one side, then flip and cook through.
For the dressing, mix all ingredients smoothly in a bowl.
Spread the large tortilla with the dip, leaving about a 3 cm border all around.
Roughly chop the romaine lettuce and spread it on the flatbread, then place the meat patty on top.
Top with cheddar, cucumber slices, caramelized onions, and nachos.
Also spread the smaller tortilla with dip and place it dip-side down on the nachos.
Now fold the wrap: Fold the edges of the large tortilla inwards until they overlap – the wrap should be tightly sealed.
In a pan or contact grill, fry with the folded side down for 1–2 minutes until golden brown, then flip and brown the other side as well.
