Recipe Idea - Coffee Tart with Cherries

Ingredients for 1 quiche dish Ø 28 cm:
- 1 Pkg. Aunt Fanny Fresh Butter Quiche Dough round 280 g
- (Alternative: Aunt Fanny Fresh Quiche & Tart Dough round 300 g
- 125 g butter melted
- 2 eggs
- 100 g icing sugar
- 200 g grated almonds .
- 1 Espresso
- 100 g dark chocolate roughly chopped .
- 200 g preserved cherries or sour cherries drained (alternatively: fresh, pitted)
Preparation
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 200° C top/bottom heat and prepare the dough according to the package instructions.
Step 2: Mix all the ingredients, except the cherries, in a bowl. Finally, fold in the cherries.
Step 3: Unroll the dough and place it in the quiche tin with the baking parchment rolled along (this eliminates the need to grease the tin). Reinforce the edge with the overhanging dough. Spread the almond paste on top.
Step 4: Bake the tart in the oven for approx. 40 min. on the lowest rack until golden brown.
Tip: Decorate the tart with grated chocolate after it has cooled. Instead of cherries, you can also use other fruit, e.g. apricots, nectarines, plums or prunes.
