Aunt Fanny Fresh Spelt Flambé Dough 260g
Flammkuchen is always a taste sensation. And it doesn't take much to make a delicious tarte flambée! Simply roll out the Tante Fanny Fresh Spelt Flammkuchen Dough and top with fresh ingredients. Whether sweet or savoury variations, the use of 100% spelt flour gives the spelt flambé dough its characteristically powerful taste and a fine nutty aroma. Aunt Fanny - Fannytastically simple!
Recipe idea - Tarte flambée with coloured tomatoes
Ingredients:
- 1 Pkg. Aunt Fanny Fresh Tarte Dough 260 g
- 125 g Crème faîche
- 300 g colourful tomatoes sliced
- 2 tbsp;olive oil
- Some basil leaves to sprinkle
- Salt and pepper ground
Preparation
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 220° C top/bottom heat and process the dough directly from the refrigerator.
Step 2: Unroll the dough on the baking tray with the baking paper rolled along, fold in the edge of the dough by 1 cm as desired and press down.
Step 3: Spread the crème fraîche to the edge of the pastry. Top evenly with the tomatoes.
Step 4: Bake in the oven for 15 - 20 min. on the lowest rack until crispy.
Step 5: Then drizzle with olive oil and garnish with basil leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
Tip: with brains: Instead of tomatoes, other colourful vegetables, such as peppers and yellow or green courgettes, are also suitable as toppings for a summery tarte flambée.
