Ingredients
- 4 pita breads
- 20 g tomato paste
- 90 g strained tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 30 g grated mozzarella
- 70 g feta cheese
- 15 g grated cheddar cheese
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- 1 handful fresh spinach leaves
Optional additions
- Black olives to taste
Preparation
- 1Preheat the oven to 220 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2In a small bowl, stir the strained tomatoes with the tomato paste and dried oregano until smooth.
- 3Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Briefly blanch the spinach leaves with boiling water, rinse with cold water, and drain well or squeeze out.
- 4Place the pita breads on the baking sheet and spread the tomato sauce evenly over them with a spoon.
- 5First, sprinkle with grated mozzarella. Then crumble the feta over it with your fingers and spread the grated cheddar.
- 6Distribute the cherry tomato halves and the prepared spinach on the pizzas. If desired, you can also add some black olives now.
- 7Bake the mini pizzas in the preheated oven for approx. 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread becomes slightly crispy. Serve hot.
Tip
For an extra crispy touch, you can briefly warm the pita breads in the toaster before topping them.
