Spaghetti Monster for Kids

Place the pureed spinach in a large pot with water. Salt the water and bring it to a boil. The spinach will dye the water deep green.

Cook the spaghetti in the green spinach water according to package instructions until al dente. Then drain. If you don't want any spinach residue on the pasta, you can rinse it briefly with warm water.

Finely dice the onion and sauté until translucent in olive oil. Briefly roast the pressed garlic with it.
