Ready to cook - deveined & peeled: Did you know that the iglo ASC king prawns are already de-warmed? Often the intestine is merely mistaken for a similarly coloured blood vessel, which is located on the ventral side and turns orange after preparation. So you can make the prawns into your favourite dish straight from the pack, because they are already de-warmed and peeled - you can count on that.
In the pan:
Rinse the prawns under running water and carefully pat dry. Then place them, unthawed, in a hot pan and fry. Then cook over a medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Turn from time to time.
In the pot:
Bring approx. 1-1.5 litres of water to the boil in the saucepan and add the prawns, unthawed. Turn off the heat and leave the prawns to soak in the water for about 3-4 minutes.
Always consume seafood fully cooked! The ideal preparation time depends on the appliance. We therefore ask you to always check whether the seafood is also well cooked.
