Preparation method

Preheat the oven to 185–190 °C and prepare a large, oven-safe pan.

Wash the leek thoroughly and cut it into fine rings. Peel the garlic and slice it thinly.

Heat 2 tsp olive oil in the pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the leek, garlic slices, butter, and dried thyme. Sauté everything for about 5–6 minutes until the leek is soft.

Chef's tip

The frittata can be served both warm and cold and is perfect for meal prep.
