These frozen Iglo potato pockets are a delicious treat made from regional Marchfeld potatoes. Description

Iglo Erdäpfeltascherl Ham and cheese made from Marchfeld potatoes with a spicy core. Ideal with vegetables & salad.

Preparation in the oven:

Preheat the oven to 220°C (hot air 200°C). Spread the frozen potato patties on a baking tray and bake on the middle shelf for 15-17 minutes until golden. Turn once after half the baking time.

In the pan:

Heat some fat in a frying pan. Bake the potato patties for 5-8 minutes over a low to medium heat, turning several times, until golden brown.

In the deep fryer:

Before preparing in the deep fryer, defrost the potato patties on a microwave-safe plate, uncovered, in the microwave: 2 patties approx. 1 minute at 900 watts. Each additional pocket: 1/2 minute extra. Heat the frying fat to 170°C. Cover the deep-frying basket with a single layer of potato patties and deep-fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Do not overfill the frying basket (half at most).

**Natriumnitrit ist eine traditionelle Zutat, die gepökeltem Schinken seine typische Farbe und den charakteristischen Geschmack verleiht.
