These delicious Iglo potato pockets with a creamy cream cheese and herb filling are a real treat from Austria. This frozen specialty comes in a convenient 300g pack and can be easily prepared in the oven, pan, or fryer until golden brown. They pair beautifully with a fresh green salad and are made without any artificial additives.

Iglo Erdäpfeltascherl cream cheese-herbs is ideal with green salad or also with Styrian beetle beans.

Preparation in the oven:
Preheat the oven to 220°C (hot air 200°C). Spread the frozen potato patties on a baking tray and bake on the middle shelf for 15-17 minutes until golden. Turn once after half the baking time.
In the pan:
Heat some fat in a frying pan. Bake the potato patties for 5-8 minutes over a low to medium heat, turning several times, until golden brown.
In the fryer:
Before preparing in the deep fryer, defrost the potato patties on a microwave-safe plate, uncovered, in the microwave: 2 patties approx. 1 minute at 900 watts. Each additional pocket: 1/2 minute extra. Heat the frying fat to 170°C. Cover the deep-frying basket with a single layer of potato patties and deep-fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Do not overfill the frying basket (half at most).
